About Us

August Farms Corp was born from a simple but urgent realization: food has become inaccessible to the very people who need it most. Working inside a major grocery retailer, our founder saw firsthand how often families struggle with rising food costs, especially for essential items like fresh produce and protein. Every day, the same message echoed: food is too expensive.
At the same time, many communities have been disconnected from the source of their food. We’ve been removed from the soil, from the seasons, and from the skills that once allowed families to feed themselves. In parts of Indianapolis where food deserts are prevalent and resources are limited, hunger isn’t just about meals, it’s about opportunity, stability, and dignity.
August Farms Corp exists to restore that connection.

Our Approach

Urban Micro Farming

We focus on small-scale, high-impact growing systems that can thrive in urban environments. Micro farming allows individuals and families to grow nourishing food in limited spaces even indoors.
